FAQ's

Do you play outdoors?

Yes! In general I can perform outdoors but the harp is a very delicate instrument made of wood, so there is a couple of things to take into consideration:

Can we meet you ahead of the event?

Of course! I offer a free consulation call, or if you prefer you can come meet me in person in my home in South East London.

What is the booking process?

After we have discussed all the details of your event, I will take a deposit to reserve your date with the final sum due a week before your event. Your music choices can be sent after, but not later than a month before the event.

Can you learn new songs?

Yes, I love learning new repertoire and creating bespoke arrangements for all my clients.

How much time do you need to set up?

I always aim to arrive at leas 1h before I start playing.

Are you able to move the harp from room to room?

Yes, I have a pneumatic trolley that allows me to wheel the harp anywhere needed. If there are stairs involved I will need someone to help. It takes me about 10-15min to move everything and set up in a new room.

Do you use any amplification?

If I am using my big pedal harp, amplification is not usually needed unless is a large wedding. In that case I can bring my battery powered amp and set up amplification anywhere. If I am using my electric lever harp, yes!, or you wouldn't be able to hear anything.

Do you need a parking space?

Yes please, as close to the entrance of the venue as possible. If one isn't available, or is not close to the entrance, I will drop off the harp first and go to the car park after.

How far do you travel?

I can travel anywhere really! The fee I'll quote will always include travel and accomodation if needed.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes, up to £10 million.
